Counseling
sessions
-
Once the employee
has been placed on a warning notice, the supervisor must hold
regularly scheduled counseling sessions with the employee.
- During
these counseling sessions, the supervisor will discuss how the
employee is improving and offer assistance in helping the employee
bring his performance back to an acceptable level.
- Documentation
is required to verify that these counseling sessions were held.
Copies of this documentation shall be placed in the
employee's official personnel file and given to the employee upon
request.
