Many supervisors take the Supervisory Practices course as an introduction to the role and responsibilities of their position. The Advanced Supervisory Practices course was designed using a blended learning approach and builds on Supervisory Practices concepts. Participants complete online pre-work which includes a leadership assessment and an e-learning module. They are also introduced to a Wiki for completion of a short post class assignment. The goal of this course is to enable supervisors to be leaders in creating a positive work environment and improving performance.
