| Advanced Supervisory Practices | ||||

Supervisors are leaders at the front line of state agencies. Many supervisors take the Supervisory Practices course as an introduction to the role and responsibilities of their position. The Advanced Supervisory Practices course was designed using a blended learning approach and builds on Supervisory Practices concepts. Participants complete online pre-work which includes a leadership assessment and an e-learning module. They are also introduced to a Wiki for completion of a short post class assignment. The goal of this course is to enable supervisors to be leaders in creating a positive work environment and improving performance.
Note: This course is for experienced supervisors with at least 18 months experience and who have already completed Supervisory Practices. 2-Day Course (9:00 AM-4:30 PM) November 19-20, 2008 March 3-4, 2009 2008 Dates April 29-30, 2008 Contact Hours: 12 Cost: $190
